High identity re-brand and promotional material. Project completed under the supervision of Massimo Vignelli
The rebranding and identity of the High Museum of Art Atlanta was imagined by the insporation of the detailing of the museum's exterior skin. It serves as a vessel for all things creative allowing itself to be filled with any artistic expression as well as remaining open to differentiate the various departments of the institution. The new brand easily adapts itself to be applied to many forms, functions and spaces respectively.
Re•Collection [Squared] is named after the idea of recalling a time, place, or feeling. It merges the senses with why people collect things, what makes those things appealing and how to use that collection as inspiration.
The half inch square format was chosen as a tool to help exercise the dedication it takes to find the most interesting part of an object or idea. This project will hopefully encourage alternative functions for things that hold importance as well as encourage others to find a way to clear their lives for new memories and important events to come. Each necklace lives on a 16 inch chain made of metal or leather. Color combinations are random but appropriate. This jewelry is intended for a unisex audience.
